If you’re planning to attend, you can register for free using our code 34W16. Details are at the bottom of this post.
The Largest PACK EXPO Yet
PACK EXPO International is North America’s largest packaging and processing event, produced by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. It only happens every two years — and PMMI projects the 2026 edition will be the biggest in the show’s history: 1.3 million net square feet of exhibit space, more than 2,600 exhibitors, and roughly 48,000 attendees from over 40 vertical markets, spread across all four buildings of McCormick Place.
For procurement and packaging teams, that scale is the entire point. Four days in Chicago covers ground that would otherwise take months of supplier calls and site visits: comparing materials side by side, seeing new formats in person, and having the kind of direct conversations that move a stalled project forward.
What We’re Highlighting in 2026
This year, we will be showcasing what quality manufacturing looks like across metal, plastic, and glass packaging.
- Our aerosol can program runs on high-speed lines year-round across seven manufacturing facilities — the kind of stable footprint that lets us hold capacity and pricing steady even as aerosol supply tightens elsewhere in the market.
- We'll also be showcasing our portfolio of metal caps and closures, including metal lug caps and metal continuous thread caps, which we have been producing for many global brands operating at scale.
- On the plastics side, we're showcasing a range of packaging innovations — from mono-material structures built for recyclability to functional formats like wide-spray sprayers — with more in our roundup of 18 personal care packaging innovations.
- On glass bottles and jars, we bring the same strict quality approach we apply everywhere: compatibility testing between the glass and its matching caps on every production run, so brands never discover a fit problem once they're on the filling line.
What ties these together is the problem they solve for buyers — reliable quality and supply across materials, from a single source.
One Ongoing Conversation
This is familiar territory for us. PACK EXPO has become a fixture on Evergreen's calendar, and each show has marked a step in how we support our customers:
- PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2021, where we came back in person for the first time since the pandemic and talked with our customers about our approach to supply chain resilience.
- PACK EXPO International 2022, where we focused on traceability — including the invisible UV coding we use across our aerosol production — alongside automation and sustainability.
- PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2023, where we introduced our APR-certified, 100% recyclable pumps and sprayers.
- PACK EXPO International 2024, where we showcased custom tooling and decoration, sustainable dispensing, and our managed logistics capabilities.
What we've consistently heard across those shows is that packaging buyers aren't shopping for a single component. They're trying to solve for cost, quality, lead time, and sustainability targets at the same time — usually across several materials and multiple regions. That's the conversation we come to have.
Come Talk Through a Real Project
The most valuable booth conversations we have are rarely general. They’re specific: a brand facing a aluminum bottle supply shortage, a team trying to convert an existing package to a recyclable structure without retooling from scratch, a procurement lead who needs a second source before the next production run.
If you’re working through something like that, bring it. Our team will be on the floor all four days, and we can talk openly about what’s realistic on timing, tooling, and cost. If you’d rather lock in dedicated time instead of catching us between conversations, reach out before the show and we’ll schedule it.
